I had no idea what a porcupine’s face looked like until I spotted this guy, up a tree, snacking on some bark. Largely nocturnal, and most often solitary, it was a rare find for me. Normal times for wildlife, unusual times for us. Maybe we can learn from this. Stay safe…

  1. Gosh, yes, look at that face! And your porcupines are so very different to our African ones (we get them here on the farm but rarely see them in the flesh, as they are nocturnal like yours). The photograph is such a gorgeous and arty portrayal. Well done and lucky you!
