the wind blows.

All the lessons are in nature. You look at the way rocks are formed – the wind and the water hitting them, shaping them, making them what they are. Things take time, you know?

I love this time of year when the seasons change from day to day; one moment is fall, the next winter.
This was taken the morning of the Autumnal Equinox when the length of day and night was almost equal.
The rock lover in me could not get enough of these sandstone sculptures in this magical place.
Take time to get out in nature. I guarantee it will give you a new perspective on life.
I love those colors and your words are so true.

Thought it called for color!
Doesn’t look like Canada girlfriend. So if we come back as anything in the next life, I want to come back as the wind. Miss you.
Ahh, thank you! That sounds like an excellent plan. Miss you guys too!
I have been ogling rocks all weekend. This artified depiction could not have come at a better time – it is sublime. I have also had the honour of seeing a Hendrik Pierneef exhibition this weekend (45 “new” works revealed in 2010 only) and he paints mountains and clouds (iconically SA)… catches the sun and shadow on massive rock formations. I am feeling fully fed up in the best way possible!
I am going to look up his work, sounds amazing. Maybe something so compelling about rocks is the history they hold. It’s been a lifelong passion for sure! And thank you!
